John Smith is the taxi-driving bigamist has been married to his wife, Mary, for 20 years. For 18 years he has been married to his wife, Barbara. Now his two teenage children, (one from each marriage) have met up on the internet and astonished by the huge similarities of their "fathers" they decide to meet. It is up to John, with help from his lodger, Stanley, to create a huge web of lies, survive the ensuing chaos, keep the two families apart and most of all save his marriages.
